Fabutan celebrates 2nd Annual SUN DAY on November 16th

“Loosen up your buttons” and tan for FREE at all Fabutan Sun Tan Studios

November 13, 2008 – Calgary, AB – This Winter, the Farmers’ Almanac is forecasting a “numbing” winter, with below-average temperatures for two-thirds of the country. What better way to stay warm than to catch some rays, and have a chance to win great prizes? Fabutan Sun Tan Studios encourages people to escape the cold and visit their local Fabutan for their “2nd Annual SUN DAY” event to coincide its National Sun Awareness campaign. This Sunday (November 16), Canadians can tan free of charge, all day at any of the 150 Fabutan locations across Canada.

Every customer receives a free tan, complementary gift bag, information on vitamin D benefits, and also qualifies for a chance to win a contest for a trip to meet and watch The Pussycat Dolls live in concert in Canada. Secondary prizes include gift sets from: Ray Ban, Alliance Films ®, Hippie tanning products, Eshe Bath & Body, Universal Music Group ©, and Moxie’s Classic Grill gift cards.

“As part of “Vitamin D Awareness Month”, we are celebrating everything good about the sun, especially the natural production of vitamin D,” said Doug McNabb, president Fabutan. “Science has shown that indoor tanners have 90 per cent higher vitamin D levels than non-tanners. As we approach winter, Canadians will be deprived of the sunlight needed to naturally produce vitamin D.”
